Jannick Miki Damkvist – Media Composer and Sound Designer

Jannick Miki Damkvist is a versatile Danish composer and sound designer known for crafting emotionally resonant and sonically bold music across trailers, games, film, and television. With a background in musicology and years of hands-on experience, Jannick brings a rare mix of technical skill, musical depth, and instinctive storytelling to every project.

His work can be heard in major campaigns such as Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim, Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps, Jordan Peele’s HIM, Star Wars: Andor, Star Wars Visions Vol. 2, Marvel’s Loki Season 2, and The Monkey. He’s also a frequent contributor to promo and sync placements on networks like ABC, NBC, FOX, and Discovery, with music featured in shows like The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, Life Below Zero, Gold Rush, UFC Countdown, WWE Friday Night SmackDown, NFL, NBA Today, and The Voice, among others.

Whether he’s building a gritty, tension-filled trailer cue or sculpting immersive sound design for game environments, Jannick is known for his collaborative mindset, creative flexibility, and obsessive attention to musical detail. He works both independently and through trusted partners like IMAscore, Trailer Rebel, and Transported Audio, and his music is regularly heard in both custom and library-based campaigns worldwide.

With an intuitive sense for narrative and a practical understanding of how music supports picture, Jannick continues to shape powerful, genre-defying soundtracks that elevate the story and linger in the mind.
